Joe Foley, President of Foley Federal & International Affairs Inc. since 1986, served Presidents Carter and Reagan in government relations. Formerly a House Floor Aide in Congress, he champions foreign policy and trade interests in the Western Balkans, Europe, UN, and EU. His clientele includes high tech, biotech, clean energy, and manufacturing firms, alongside international political concerns. A key figure in the National Federation of Croatian Americans, Foley promoted three bilateral Treaties, securing Croatia's NATO membership in 2008. He actively pursues an Avoidance of Double Taxation Treaty. During the 116th Congress, he played a pivotal role in developing the Engel-Aderholt Amendment, urging reports on Russia's involvements in SE Europe before the 2022 Ukraine invasion. Holding a Master's degree in International Trade and Development from The American University, Washington, DC, Foley's expertise continues to leave a positive impact on federal and international affairs.
First generation Croatian with dual citizenship, specializing in Information Technology / Information Systems. With 20 plus years of experience in the field as IT Director, and various roles in consulting. Primary focus was working with ERP systems, WMS, and CRM solutions. Many installations from the ground up, as well as system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements with new technologies. Croatian as a first language, accomplished tambura musician and entertainer, as well as award winning Elvis Tribute Artist. He currently serves as vice president and assistant director to the Sloboda Junior Tamburitzans (501c3) of Chicago. Having much family and friends in Zagreb, Joe also has many professional connections that he has made over the years, and sees a growing need for connecting Croatian companies with US based companies. There are so many fantastic ideas that are coming out of Croatia that should be given the opportunity to thrive and expand globally.
